Our Mission
Hi, I’m Bonnie!
And I run everything After 5 Furnished related. I'm a Toronto-based entrepreneur that's passionate about furniture refinishing and design. If you’re looking to sustainably furnish your home with one-of-a-kind items, you’ve come to the right place!
In 2021, I was just started a job at a tech company. Around the same time, several large tech companies were undergoing massive layoffs. As a new-hire, I feared about losing my job, and began a side hustle of upcycling furniture.
It all started after my 9-5
The Transition
What started as a back-up plan soon became my full-time plan. I quickly realized I was learning a lot more, had more opportunities, and most importantly was creating items that people actually treasure.
With each project, I grew hungrier, and continued to push the limits.
The Present
Skip forward to now, I’ve created over 80+ pieces for both commercial & residential spaces.
Merging my passion for interior design and engineering is something I used to dream of. Creating high quality, sustainable pieces is the cherry on top.
The Future
Now that I'm focused on this full-time, I'm creating more pieces while also having opened the doors to requests for custom furniture.
