The Japanese textured wood pattern “Naguri (なぐり)” is traditionally achieved by hammering numerous small indentations into a piece of lumber. We took inspiration from the century-old design with modern woodworking techniques to create this carved wood nightstand.

Choose from a range of finishes or contact us to further customize this side table's finish or dimensions. Each nightstand is sustainably handcrafted in our Etobicoke workshop from repurposed vintage furniture.

Finished with a durable satin finish hardwax oil, this nightstand boasts a subtle sheen that enhances the natural grain of the wood. The satin finish not only protects the side table but also adds a smooth, luxurious feel to its surface.

    • Main structure is constructed with engineered plywood core for strength and stability, surface-faced with real wood veneer.

    • Features 1 solid oak drawer front with carved wood details

    • Finished in Osmo Polyx-Oil - a durable, satin, oil-based protector designed to highlight the beauty of natural wood.

    • Wood finish is low VOC and is an all-natural, environmentally friendly product.

    • A small amount of Osmo will be provided to revitalize the surface as desired.

    • No assembly necessary

    • Wood is a natural material, with variations in grain pattern and colour that make each design unique.
